These are the Room8Roadsters
Back in 2020 3 roomates, David, Cole, and Clay started the Room8s. Starting with our first roadster, a 1987 Toyota MR2 NA, for the low low price of $700 we started a brand that was nothing more than a useless google business profile and a instagram account where we posted questions we had, updates, and engaged in the (very helpful) mr2 community.
A year passed and little progress had been made on the roadster. We had started other projects, well, we really just were working on our dailies most of the time, but Cole aqcuired the second roadster in the family, a 2000 Porsche Boxster S he obtained by trading his 2005 Subaru WRX. A slammer of a deal but since Cole already had a working roadster now his attention was shifted, David's daily WRX was being fully built which took up his resources of time and money, and Clay was broke, had no tools, and was attending a business school an hour away in roanoke for 6 months, only coming back to visit his girlfriend.
A hundred years passed and Cole and I discovered a new roomate, a Volkswagen enthusiast named Caleb, and although his volkswagen skills are great, he has a lot to learn about toyotas before he's ready to save the brand.
